The scenes out there were so awesome, from the escarpment like views to the sunset rays under the clouds, I'd call that heaven on earth, we got to our stop somewhere along the road in the middle of nowhere, made stories

If there is one thing I've really liked about this bike is that not even a single day I've I ever woken up, start it and it fails to start... My travels come unplanned and not even a single day I've I ever canceled coz the bike has failed to start.

One fine evening, about 6pm, I parked it outside a shop in Ruaka and went in to buy some credit for my phone. Or fish... I honestly don’t remember what I was buying. What I remember is a rugged looking man in the same shop, who approached me and asked me for some money.

Not a journey for the faint hearted especially if you are not spending the night in Eliye. Tough as you start, it test your relationships with the bike but by time you are making a return you are 'sandproof'. Short cut' theory did not work for me, I prefered Kangetei route while making the return loop. Its much better.

Servicing aside. How do you all take care of your bikes? I know there’s a team carwash and team DIY wash. I am team DIY wash and here’s my small bike care routine done once every Sunday and a weekday in between if need arises.

It's a good looking machine. Big tyres. Wire spoked wheels. Slim profile. High exhaust. Crash guards. Robust bash plate. Bright LED headlight. It looks the business, like you can start it, revv hard and speed off to conquer undiscovered trails.
